Service Description
Vibroacoustic Mat Session Experience sound you can both hear and feel. Vibroacoustic stimulation combines music with low-frequency tactile vibration, allowing sound to be experienced through both the auditory and somatosensory systems. The Woojer haptic system converts audio signals into precise physical vibration, creating an immersive full-body sensory experience while you rest comfortably on the mat. Haptic simply means related to the sense of touch. In a vibroacoustic session, low-frequency components of sound are translated into vibration that can be physically felt through the body. This layered combination of sound and vibration provides rich sensory input that many people find deeply calming, grounding, and absorbing. Research on vibroacoustic stimulation has explored its effects on relaxation, autonomic arousal, stress-related responses, pain perception, mood, and overall comfort. Some studies have found relaxation-related changes in physiologic measures such as electrodermal activity, while broader reviews note that vibroacoustic research is still developing and that protocols vary considerably in frequency, intensity, session length, and equipment. During your session, you’ll lie comfortably while curated audio plays through the Woojer system and the vibration level is adjusted to your comfort. You may feel gentle pulsing, waves of vibration, rhythmic movement, or deeper resonance that changes with the music. Many clients choose this experience to decompress, quiet mental noise, support sensory grounding, encourage deep relaxation, reconnect with body awareness, or simply enjoy a unique mind-body sound experience. This is a complementary wellness service designed to support relaxation and well-being. It is not intended to diagnose or treat a medical or mental-health condition.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments & Payment All sessions must be reserved in advance. Payment may be made online at booking or in person at your appointment. For online bookings, a valid payment card is required to secure the reservation and may be charged only under the cancellation and no-show policy below. * A 40-45 minute discovery telephone intake call (included in the price) will be done prior to your session if booking for the 2 hour session, so please call 760-223-5956 and speak to me at least one week before your scheduled session, or the session will have to be cancelled. There is a great deal of information I will need from you before this type of session can be done as it involves regression. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Late Arrivals At least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late arrivals may shorten your session; the full fee still applies. Individual Bookings *24+ hours: Cancel or reschedule with no fee. *Less than 24 hours: 50% of the booked service fee may be charged. *No-show: Up to 100% of the booked service fee may be charged. Memberships & Pricing Plans *24+ hours: The session credit is returned to the plan. *Less than 24 hours or no-show: The session credit is forfeited and not returned. Packages & Memberships All packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. Sessions must be used within the specified timeframe. Unused sessions expire and cannot be carried forward. Health & Safety This environment is kept clean and as free of chemical cleaners and allergens as possible. Please arrive well-hydrated and clean, with no perfumes, deodorant, hairspray, or cologne, to protect this low-allergen space and those sensitive to fragrances or chemicals. *If chemical scents are detected, you will need to reschedule. *If clothing is heavily covered with pet hair, dust, dirt, paint, etc., you will need to reschedule to protect the space.
